# Black Forest Marble

> Charcoal marble, black wavy grain. Curving black and silver lines sweep across a charcoal ground like tree rings, crossed here and there by sharper dark veins. Book-matched, it makes a strong bar or shower wall.

## Questions

### How do I choose the actual Black Forest Marble slabs?

Ask for photos of the slabs available. We send each slab numbered and measured, so you approve the exact slabs before anything is cut or shipped.

### Can Black Forest Marble be book-matched?

Yes, when consecutive slabs from the same block are available. Ask for numbered slabs from one block and mark the joint on your drawings.

### Can Black Forest Marble be used outdoors?

We recommend it for interiors. For outdoor areas, look at granite, travertine or terrazzo.
