## Applications

[Kitchen islands](https://datumsurfaces.com/applications/kitchen-islands/)56

An island is usually the largest single surface in a kitchen, seen from every side.

[Kitchen worktops](https://datumsurfaces.com/applications/kitchen-worktops/)67

Kitchen worktops take heat, knives, acids and water every day.

[Countertops](https://datumsurfaces.com/applications/countertops/)24

For US projects, we supply natural stone countertops and slabs: granite for hard-working kitchens, marble where the owner accepts etching.

[Bathrooms](https://datumsurfaces.com/applications/bathrooms/)143

Bathrooms are where natural marble works best: walls and vanities see little acid, and a book-matched shower wall shows the stone at full size..

[Feature walls](https://datumsurfaces.com/applications/feature-walls/)163

A feature wall shows the most stone in one view.

[Floors](https://datumsurfaces.com/applications/floors/)140

Floors take the most wear of any surface.

[Outdoor and pool](https://datumsurfaces.com/applications/outdoor-and-pool/)50

Outdoor stone needs to resist sun, frost and wet feet.

[Bars and reception desks](https://datumsurfaces.com/applications/bars-and-reception-desks/)95

A bar or reception desk is the first surface a guest touches.
